Maggie Beveridge

Maggie Beveridge was born in Kintyre in 1955. She studied at Glasgow University, graduating with an honours degree in Botany in 1976. Since then she has had a variety of jobs in aquaculture research, arts administration and medical publishing. She is currently studying for a degree in herbal medicine in Edinburgh.

Her paintings mostly depict animals and are strongly influenced by childhood memories of the west coast of Scotland. They can be found in private collections in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Sweden, Japan, Australia, Canada and the USA.
