Graduate,
Originally focussing on more figurative work Peter has begun to
develop his landscapes. Scenes from
A graduate of Glasgow School of Art in 1975, Nardini is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow
Institute of Fine Arts; The Royal Scottish Academy; the Scottish Artists and
Artist-Craftsmen, Edinburgh; the Paisley Art Institute and several galleries
across
In 2000 Nardini was invited
by Scottish ballet to produce a painting for them, Rehearsal, which now hangs
in the Theatre Royal, Glasgow. Several months of observation inspired a series
of atmospheric paintings of ballet dancers in their diaphanous costumes in
rehearsal rooms suffused with light. Nardini is also
a talented singer songwriter, and has been described by Donny O’Rouke as ‘an artist with an eye and an ear for
transforming detail, a man who can paint stories and sing pictures.’
