Angus McEwan

Angus McEwan, who gained his membership of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours and won the RSA Latimer Prize in 1995, is a native and Honours Graduate of Dundee. Recently he secured the prominent commission for a portrait of the city's Lord Provost and has exhibited in Norway. He has enjoyed continued success and has contined winning awards - The Salveson Travel Award in 1996 and this year the Alexander Graham Munro Award at the RSW annual exhibition

He mainly works in oil and acrylic, but is also very much at home in watercolour. A surrealist, he explores "the country of the mind" with clarity and accessibility.

Angus will again be exhibiting his originals in the gallery in May 1999. Two of his paintings are now avaiable as limited edition prints.
